There’s plenty to keep the children busy: butterfly-catching... woodland trails, picking flowers and wild berries, visiting nearby farmhouses with their animals and pets, feeding the fish in the river, swimming, and diving into waterfalls. We've lots of outdoor and indoor games to play, and there are bikes available to borrow. There’s an adventure-park nearby, as well as horse-riding schools, and more fun-parks within an hour’s drive. There are exciting medieval castles to visit, and high towers to climb. Or why not just set up a tent for the day and have a picnic! On a windy day you could try flying a kite; or on a rainy day, visit the local caves. In our field we have often seen roe deer, and when the sun goes down, you can hear wild boars running through the forest, and Green Woodpeckers hammering on the trees.
